• Strong smelling urine
  According to your description, the foul-smell can sometimes be significant, which leads to diagnoses such as urinary tract infection (UTI) or sexually transmitted infection (STI).
  UTI usually presents with pain during urination, cloudy urine, and fever. Occasionally there can be blood in the urine too. However, UTI is more common in females due to anatomical predisposition, and you did not report having fever and other abnormalities in the urine - therefore, UTI is unlikely.
  STI, as its name implies, is spread through sexual intercourse, and includes many different bacterial infection such as gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes, and others. Usually, there would be foul-smelling urethral discharge and lower abdominal pain, which may or may not be associated with genital lesions. Unless we obtain a thorough sexual history, we are unable to confidently say whether STI is a possibility.
  Sometimes, strong-smelling urine can be due to simple factors such as low water intake or dehydration. Also, intake of certain foods such as asparagus, onions (both of which you did not eat), coffee, alcohol, and even Brussels Sprouts can make your urine smell different.

• Sweat smelling like urine
  Sweat and urine have similar chemical compositions, whereby the main components include water (90-95%) and urea (2%). Therefore it is not abnormal for sweat to smell like urine!
