Bleeding but not like period amount
Hi,
I have been taking YAZ birth control pills since 12th Nov 2020 till date. This week I missed taking the pill for 2 days in a row (17 & 18th April 2021) and suddenly today around 5ish when I went to toilet, I found brown discharge like how a women normally get before the first day of period and around 6ish also today I found out that I am bleeding. Please do advise me! Thanks

An irregular menstrual cycle is experienced when the range between your period changes frequently. For your information, there are various causes of irregular menstruation such as:
- Stress disorders
- Unstable hormones (due to medications or disease disorders)
- Sudden weight loss or increase
- Use of certain medications or medical procedure of the reproductive organs
- Exercises that do not comply with the correct guidelines
- Medical problems - polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or thyroid problems
- Thickening or polyps on the lining of the uterus and uterine fibroids
- Breastfeeding
- Hormonal contraceptives: Contraceptive pills or IUCD
