Slip Disc problem since 5 months
I got upper shoulder pain in Dec2019. Ignored for a week then visited Doc. She gave muscle painkiller for 10 days and later referred to Orthopedic. There I underwent X-ray and MRI and came to know I have slip Disc/hurriniated disc in C5-C6. it was having severe pain from my neck to right arm.
AS per doc I took Lyrica(pregabalin), celecoxib, Vit-B tablets but didn’t go physiotherapy as I tried exercise seeing online. Pain was reducing very slowly and after a month (Jan-end) pain was 80% fine. I thought to avoid medicine as it is being better and took exercise casually.
Approx March-end, severe pain started again. I took remaining medicine and also started to go to Physiotherapist (already 6 session) but no relief. Right now I am just taking pain killer ‘Declofenac’ as all other medicine got over.
please suggest if I should continue same medicine which I was taking initially OR can add any muscle relaxant?
even after 6 session, pain is reducing VERY slowly.
I am now doing all exercises at home also told by physiotherapist.
Because of Covid-19, I dont want to visit any hospital as it is very risky now. please help to get over from severe pain

As for physiotherapy treatment, it is never meant to immediately efficient. On top of that, it does not help in you slipped disc but to help manage the pain. Thus, the pain would still be there because the causes is not treated. Moreover, it is not surprising that the pain might be more difficult to manage because the slipped disc can be more severe than before.
