Not feeling well today

I am a 22 woman, slight obesity, alpha thalassemia trait. I am feeling under weather. I am asking if normal to feel the heart being squeezed like a ball for about a few months and today is the worst and making me uncomfortable. My current bp is 77/48 84. My bp has never been to normal bp. My symptoms were back pain, headache, fatigue, dizzy. I have been using 2 pillows for sleeping. Is normal? My thyroid functions is normal and I don’t have any anxiety problem .

Hello, thank you for your enquiry.

For your information, a BP of 77/48 is significantly low, hypotension, may or may not related to some heart problems. The symptoms you experiencing, heart being squeezed, back pain, headache, fatigue and dizziness may due to several factors, such as:

  • Ischaemic heart diseases
  • Valvular heart disease
  • Pulmonary vascular diseases
  • Other respiratory causes

We highly recommend you to consult a doctor for further examinations and investigations to find out the cause for your symptoms. Please take this as a reference only, do not diagnose yourself, as misdiagnosis commonly happens. A proper explanation and treatment plan can be discuss after the doctor find out the cause.
