Allergy to amoxicillin and question on covid vaccine
Hi doctor, may I know if I can take any covid vaccine (eg. Pfizer, sinovac) if I’m allergic to amoxicillin? Thank you

We understand your concern regarding COVID-19 vaccination. As far as we know, there is no amoxicillin used to manufacture the vaccine. However it is best for you to to consult to the doctor before going to take the vaccine and if you have multiple allergic reaction including other than amoxicillin. Moreover, more information is needed regarding your condition as it is hard to say whether you are safe to take the vaccine by just having allergy to amoxicillin alone. Health status and other factors also play a role in giving vaccination to an individual.
